Pregnancy is full of small milestones: conception, climbing out of the first trimester, making it to 24 weeks when baby is viable, hitting 35 weeks when baby's lungs are mature, and now we have finally hit the major milestone of a "FULL TERM FETUS!" (Ross hates it when I say fetus!) Today Anna is 37 weeks, which is considered full term, even though my due date is 3 weeks away. 85% of babies are born between 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after the due date...but "kids, we ain't goin' 2 weeks after!" That's when this mama has to pull some strings! Anna would be 10 pound by then!
I have had several contractions now, some of which are painless and some that really get my attention. Some of them make me freeze up like a statue, and Ross keeps saying, "BREATH!"
We are ready when you are Anna!
