Anna at 5 months

Anna turned 5 months on February 1st, and has gotten to be quite an active little girl. She wants to be upright at almost all times. She is learning something new all the time. Right now she has found her feet, and grabs them and plays with them, which is truly adorable. She also talks and then sighs, as if to say "Well that's enough about that." She is still in physical therapy for her "flat head". Poor girl. Most people don't notice it, but our pediatrician sure does! The flatness is a result of a tight neck muscle that causes her to favor one side over the other and rest only on her left side. This is most likely a result of her being completely "crammed" in my uterus and weighing almost 9 lbs! She stayed in pretty much the same position from 20 weeks on (which was her head buried in my right hip, and her feet under my left ribs.) Her head looks better and better all the time as she spends less and less time on her back. She sits upright in a high chair now, as well as her "jumper" and her "exersaucer". She is just cuter and fatter than ever, and wears a size "9 to 12 month"! We are simply in love with her.
