I had a check up with my Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist on Monday. Everything looked great. Darby weighs approximately two pounds and five ounces. She is going to feel SO heavy when she gains another six pounds! Her growth is right on target. I got to see her sweet little face and watch her play with her hands. It was wonderful to see her as a little person, and not just an idea. I can't wait to meet her. I even packed a few things in her hospital bag as I was cleaning Anna's room this morning. I packed a several sweet gowns that were Anna's as well as some super soft blankets for swaddling. I packed some of my things too that I will need at the hospital. I think this was my best attempt at nesting, since I can't work on her nursery until we get Anna moved into her Big Girl room. Anna is not going to know what to do with herself when she finds out we get to have a real baby living in our house!
