Anna is finally here as of 5:41 pm on Monday September 1! I knew that our smart little girl was waiting to labor on "Labor Day!" Of course Anna waited until my entire family was out of town to make her move towards entering the world. I began hard labor around 10:00 on Sunday night. We made it to the hospital by 10:30 and were admitted to Labor and Delivery around 11 or so. I was 3 cm. We called Mom and Dad who were at our cabin in Cedar Mountain and they threw their luggage and dog in the car and sped down the mountain. Emily was of course in Charleston so she got about one hour of sleep all night! She left Mount Pleasant around 5 am hoping to arrive in time...little did we know that I would labor for 17 hours! Julie was in Boston for the weekend and had to catch an early flight home and slept about an hour herself!
So 17 hours later I delivered an 8 lb 11 oz baby girl by c-section. We are completely in love with our "Little Ross!"
