36 Week Check-Up

Not much to report at the 36 week check up, other than my cervix was closed but was50% effaced. She is still very happy occupying my space and not creating her own! I have been having plenty of Braxton Hicks contractions and a few real ones here and there (mostly at night...I will wake up with the tightest abs ever...it is PARALYZING! OUCH!) Even though she feels (and looks) huge, she only measured 35 weeks this week, so maybe she isn't a tall Kester lady after all. I was beginning to picture her with nice long legs-unlike her mother- but now I'm thinking petite like the Arrington women, Nana Kester and Nanny Spalding. I can't wait to check out every little part of her!

Hurry back Pops and Nana! We are ready to have your grandbaby!

Working in the Nursery and Packing Anna's Bags

Here are some pics for our out of town family. Check out the nursery and my growing belly!

Shower for Anna with my fabulous coworkers!

Once again, I have been completely spoiled rotten! Stephanie Dach and Tiffany Rhodes hosted a shower for me for the staff of Upstate OB/GYN. Stephanie's house is gorgeous and there were fresh pink roses and flowers everywhere. Everything was pink from the silverwear wrapped in pink napkins with pink ribbons to the pink booties on the Petit Fours and even pink lemonade. I am so glad that we know Anna is a girl so that we can be totally girlie all the time!

We had a great time and everyone was so generous. I bought 30 additional clothes hangers and used EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM on the clothing that Anna received! She is so set! Her closet looks better than mine!

Thanks to everyone. You all are so special to me and I consider us all a big family. I will miss you all while I'm on maternity leave, but I look forward to many more happy times with my "Upstate OB Family."
